MOE Cake

I am so proud of this cake. It was my very first wedding cake. It was for a very sweet couple, Morgan & Elisabeth. The bride did not want a traditional wedding cake, so this is what we came up with. The colors were chosen to match the bride's maids' dresses which were brown and the accent color of green. The monogram does spell "MOE", but the couple found this amusing. The cake itself was made of French Vanilla cake, cream cheese icing, and chocolate fudge was used for the detail work. And it was yummy!

Sailboat Cake

This was a baby shower cake for my friend Kara. This was a fun cake to create. I knew how I wanted to do the top of the cake, but came up with the design on the side as I was going. It turned out very playful.

Baby Blocks Cake

This baby blocks cake was for a baby shower. The couple was expecting a boy whose initials would be "DLH", thus the letters on the blocks. Each block was a different flavor - yellow, chocolate, and red velvet. Buttercream icing was used for this cake.

Tree Cake

This cake was for a friend's wedding shower. I wasn't planning on doing a cake, but plans changed at the last minute so this is what I created. It turned out to be a big hit.
